Here you'll find information about my teaching practice,
The Student Center, Drum World Workshops and my performance schedule.
I believe there are 3 basic skills that help make a
great drummer.
Time
Reading
Good Technique
I stress all of these in my program, along
with feel, groove and hand/foot coordination.
In addition, listening, enjoying, and playing to ALL types
of music are some of the best ways to broaden our
musical vocabulary and are essential qualities to
becoming a versatile musician.
These concepts will help to create your own style and let you feel
comfortable in almost any setting.
The Studio is multi-media, incorporating iTunes and the internet to enhance each lesson.
When a student reaches a certain level of proficiency, he/she will be able to download their
favorite songs immediately to the studio and learn it.
(We have a lot of fun doin' that!)
In addition...students can now take pertinent parts of a lesson
home with them via flash drive.
If you would like to find out about my professional
background, please check the bio page and/or Google my name.
If you would like to see reviews from current and former students/parents...go to www.teachstreet.com
The Student Center is my favorite part of the site and is dedicated to featuring students activities
and achievements.
You can also schedule lessons by going to that page and clicking the Book Now button and that
will take you to the current schedule. The Student Policy Page gives an overview of rates and
cancellation policies.
Last but not least...
I want to recognize all my current and former students,
you guys are the best!
You make what I do worthwhile.
