                 As a drummer/educator I believe there are 3 basic, yet important skills that help make a
                 great drummer.

                  
                                              
               Time
               Reading
               Good Technique


                 These are all featured in my program along with feel, groove, and hand/foot coordination.

                                  
                  In addition, playing and listening to all types of music increase our musical vocabulary
                  and are essential qualities to becoming a versatile musician.
                  These concepts will help you create your own style while becoming comfortable in almost
                  any setting. Playing musically and with feeling are paramount. 

                  The Studio at Drum World is multi-media, incorporating  web to enhance the lessons.
                  When a student reaches a certain level of proficiency, he/she will be able to download
                  their favorite songs directly to the studio and work on it. (We have a lot of fun doin' that!)
                  Play-along tracks (music minus drums) are also prominent in my program.

                  Learning some history of the drums and its respective players is also important in
                  creating respect and dedication for the instrument one has chosen to play.
 
                  The Student Center is my favorite page on the site and is dedicated to students
                  achievements and musical activities.
